Sayyafs demand P30 million for 3 Indonesian hostages
THREE INDONESIAN FISHERMEN kidnapped by Abu Sayyaf terrorists have pleaded with Jakarta for their safe release after the Abu Sayyaf demanded P30 million (around $589,882) in exchange for the trio’s freedom, Malaysia media reported.
The Star said the fishermen – Maharudin Lunani, 48, and his son Muhammad Farhan, 27; and crew member Samiun Maneu, 27, appealed to Indonesian President Joko Widodo, in a video clip posted on Facebook.
